Bates on Hand as Goulburn Nets Opened

The students of Goulburn High School will now be able to use a brand-new cricket training facility after receiving funding from the NSW State Government, Cricket Australia, Cricket NSW, The Veolia Mulwaree Trust and the Goulburn High School Parents and Citizens Association.

The facility was officially opened on Friday 24 August by NSW Minister for Family and Community Services, local member of Parliament and, Patron of the Sydney Thunder WBBL team, the Hon. Pru Goward MP, Thunder star Sam Bates and the newly formed Goulburn High School Thunder Girls Cricket Team.

Sydney Thunder open their Rebel Women’s Big Bash League on Sunday 2 December against the Melbourne Renegades in St. Kilda.
