Sydney Thunder, John Therry Catholic High School and the Campbelltown Collegians join forces

Nine teachers from John Therry Catholic High School recently visited St Anne’s School Port Orly and St Michel Technical High School Luganville in Vanuatu as part of an immersion trip in the July school holidays. The trip involved providing support to infrastructure, improving IT systems and active involvement in school classes and extra-curricular activities.

Lee Germon, Sydney Thunder General Manager, values the importance of working with local schools and clubs to make real difference in the community.

“Sydney Thunder is committed to supporting the hard-working organisations and individuals across the Thunder Nation”, Germon said.

“It is fantastic to work with local schools and cricket clubs to increase the scale of our work”.

The trip to Vanuatu is part of ongoing support from Australian Marist Solidarity. Sydney Thunder has provided equipment and clothing to charities in the Caribbean, Kenya, Canada, Nepal, India, Fiji and Germany in the past twelve months.
